I am a New York-based lifestyle, documentary, and fashion photographer. I shoot everything from weddings to newborns, but I approach each client's session or event as a documentary project. When I photograph people, I always chat and laugh and have fun. When I know what makes my subjects who they are, the person shines through the photos. Each session is unique; I don't try to duplicate photos that worked for me in the past or use set poses. Instead, even portrait sessions are documentary for me. My favorite shots are the ones in between poses, when people are most relaxed and the emotions are truest.

In addition to lifestyle photography, I have also done a range of journalism. Credits include:

The front page of Haaretz, Israel's largest newspaper
The religion page of Huffington Post
The premier Arabic news channels Al Arabiya and Al Jazeera
Numerous front covers for the Journal of Inter-Religious Dialogue
The 2008 annual report of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel

As a fashion photographer, I have worked with models and clothing desigers, as well as covering runway shows and other events. My fashion photography has been exhibited twice in The Art of Fashion, an annual showcase in New York City.
